Chap. 659.—An ACT to authorize the school trustees of the Abingdon school
district, and Central school district, of the county of Washington, to issue
separate bonds of said school districts for the purpose of taking up and
paying the outstanding indebtedness of the late Cave City school districc.

Approved February 27, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
school trustees of Abingdon school district, and Central school district,
of the county of Washington, Virginia, be, and they are hereby, author-
ized and empowered to issue their separate bonds for, and take up such
part of the outstanding indebtedness of the former Cave City school
district as may be assumed bv each of said districts, upon a final adjust-
ment of the same between them.

Said bonds to bear interest at the rate of six per centum per annum,
and to run for such time as the said trustees may think best.

2. This act shall be in force froin its passage.
