Chap. 651. ie ACT to exempt the home for friendless children, situated
in Chesterfield county, from taxation.

Whereas by an act of the general assembly, passed March second,
eighteen hundred and nincty- -eight, the home for friendless children,

near Bon Air, in Chesterfield county, Virginia, was duly incorporated;
and

Whereas it is a purely charitable institution and is supported by
charitv; therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
property and real estate of the said home, in Chesterticld county be,
and the same is hereby, exempted from all taxes and taxation so long
as it is used exclusively for charitable purposes.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
