Chap. 607.—An ACT to allow William J. M. Sharpley and Joshua T. Sharp-
ley to erect a wharf, pier, marine railway, or dry-dock in Chincoteague
bay, near Franklin City, Accomac county, Virginia.
Approved March 6, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That William
J. M. Sharpley and Joshua T. Sharpley be, and they are hereby, author-
ized and permitted to erect a wharf, pier, marine railway, or dry-dock
adjoining their land in Chincoteague bay, near Franklin City, Accomac
county, beginning at a certain piling in said bay about one hundred and
twenty-five feet (125) back from front of wharf on the southwest side,
and running thence in a southwesterly direction two hundred feet to
another piling, thence in a southeasterly direction a distance of six
hundred and fifty feet, thence northeast to the wharf or lands of John
H. Young and Samuel Peterson, subject to all the laws of the state
governing all wharves or piers erected on the waters of the common-
wealth: and provided also, that this act shall at all times be under con-
trol of the general assembly and be amended or repealed as may be
deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
