Chap. 578.—An ACT to regulate the taking of oysters from the waters of
the Potomac river above a line drawn from Mathias Point, in King George
county, Virginia, to Windmill Point, in Charles county, Maryland.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
cull law shall not apply to the taking of ovsters from the waters of
the Potomac river above a line drawn from Mathias Point, in King
George county, Virginia, to Windmill Point in Charles county, Mary-
land, during the months of April and September of anv year.
2. That this act shall go into effect as soon as adopted by the state
of Maryland through an act of her general assembly, and shall continue
in full force and operation until the same shall have been repealed o1
altered by either state. And all acts or parts of acts now in force in the
state of Virginia in so far as they contlict with this act shall be deemed
repealed, from and after the date at which this act shall take etfect.
