Chap. 555.—An ACT to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act empowering
the board of supervisors of Dickenson county to increase the salary of the Judge
of the county court, approved February 10, 1896.

Approved February 27, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That an act
approved February the nineteenth, one thousand eicht hundred and
ninety-six, authorizing the county board of supervisors of Dickenson
county to increase the salary of the county judge of said county, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

$1. The board of supervisors of Dickenson county are hereby au-
thorized to increase the salary of the county judge of said county, to
a sum not to exceed six hundred dollars per annum, and said salary
be a charge upon the said county, and be levied, collected, and paid
as the law prescribes for the payment of county Judges.

This act shall be in force trom its passage.
