Whereas the committee on agriculture and mining have unanimous!
reported to this body in favor of a bill so amending the law, which nov
requires a brand tax to be paid on fertilizers sold in this state, or tc
require a tonnage tax of fifteen cents per ton: now, therefore, be i
resolved by the house of delegates, the senate concurring, that the opera
tions of the existing law requiring a brand tax on fertilizers, be, and th:
same is hereby, suspended pending the consideration by the genera
assembly of the said amended bill.
