Chap. 425.—JOINT RESOLUTION to fill a vacancy in the electoral board of
Spotsylvania county, Virginia.

Approved February 20, 1900.

Whereas W. S. Hicks has resigned as a member of the electoral board
of Spotsylvania county; his resignation taking effect during the session
of the general assembly, and there is a vacancy in said board; therefore,

Be it resolved by the house of delegates of Virginia (the senate con-
curring), That W. G. Hicks, of Spotsylvania county, a qualified voter
and resident of said county, be, and he is hereby, elected a member of
said electoral board of Spotsylvania county, in the place and stead of
said W. S. Hicks, resigned.

This resolution shall take effect from its passage.
