Chap. 276.—An ACT to exonerate, relieve, and forever discharge James P.
Keith from the payment of two fines and costs—namely, $25 fine and $4.95
costs; $5 fine and $6.95 costs—imposed on him by G. G. Isaacs, a justice of
the peace of Russell county.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That James P.
Keith, upon proof of facts before the judge of the county court of
Russell county, and his certificate to the auditor, be, and is hereby,
released, exonerated, and forever discharged from the payment of two
fines and costs of prosecution—to wit: A fine of twenty-five dollars and
four dollars and ninety-five cents costs, and five dollars fine and six
dollars and ninety-five cents costs, imposed on him by G. G. Isaacs,
a justice of the peace of Russell county, on the sixth of March, eich-
teen hundred and ninety-seven.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
