Chap. 233.—An ACT to compensate school trustees, other than clerks, in the
counties of Clarke and Warren.

In effect February 2, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the dis-
rict school boards of the counties of Warren and Clarke may, in thcir
liscretion, compensate the school trustees of their respective districts,
ther than the clerks of district boards, at the rate of one dollar and fifty
ents for each day of service actually rendered in discharge of their duties
3 trustees, payable out of the district school funds: provided, that no
rustee, as aforesaid, shall receive more than fifteen dollars in any one
‘ear for services rendered.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
