Chap. 205.—An ACT to compensate school trustees, other than clerks, in the
county of Montgomery.

In effect January 30, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the district
school boards of the county of Montgomery may, in their discretion,
compensate the school trustees of their respective districts, other than the
clerks of district boards, at the rate of one dollar and fifty cents for each
day of service actually rendered in the discharge of their duties as trus-
tees, payable out of the district school funds: provided, that no trustee,
as aforesaid, shall receive more than fifteen dollars in any one year for
services rendered.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
