Chap. 204.—An ACT to compensate school trustees, other than clerks, of dis-
trict school boards, in the counties of Greene and Madison.

In effect January 30, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the dis-
trict school boards of the counties of Greene and Madison may, at
their discretion, compensate the school trustees of their respective dis-
tricts, other than the clerks of district school boards, at the rate of one
dollar and fifty cents per day for services rendered in attending district
or county school boards, when called by the county superintendent,
payable from their district school funds: provided, that no trustee as
aforesaid shall receive more than ten dollars in any one year for services
rendered on district account.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
