Chap. 159.—An ACT to regulate the hunting or capturing of partridges (or
quail) in the county of Princess Anne.
Approved January 25, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
ve lawful to kill or capture partridges (or quail) in the county of
-rincess Anne, between the fifteenth day of November and the first day
yf February of each year. |
2. It shall be unlawful for any one to kill or capture partridges in
he county of Princess Anne, between the first day of February and the
ifteenth day of November of each year.
3. Any person violating this act shall be deemed guilty of a mis
demeanor, and fined not exceeding ten dollars for each offense.
4. In any prosecution of a person for violation of this act, proof o
the possession of any such birds shall be prima facie evidence of guilt.
5. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed
in so far as they affect the county of Princess Anne.
6. This act shall be in force from its passage.
