Chap. 1473.—An ACT for the relief of Mrs. Quincy G. Dunn, widow of a
Confederate soldier.

Whereas Mistress Quincy G. Dunn, widow of Joseph B. Dunn, an ex-
Confederate soldier, who served in company G, fifty-ninth Virginia
regiment, and contracted disease from exposure whilst in service dur-
ing the war, from the effects of which he afterwards died; and
Whereas the said Mistress Quincy G. Dunn is now a resident of Hali-
fax county, Virginia, and is now in poor health and in destitute cir-
cumstances without any property; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts be authorized to list the name of the said
Mistress Quincy G. Dunn on the pension rolls of Virginia: provided,
the facts herein alleged shall be satisfactorily proven to the county
court of Halifax county and a pension of fifteen dollars per annum is
hereby given her.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
