Chap. 1454.—An ACT for the relief of James Robertson.

Whereas James Robertson of the county of Franklin, was in the
late Confederate service, and while in this service was wounded at the
battle of Gaines Mill by a gunshot wound in the right arm, which made
necessary the excision of the bone of that arm; and was also shot in
the hand, breaking two fingers of the hand; and
Whereas he is now poor, old and needy, and disabled from manual
labor; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
the certificate of the county court of Franklin county upon proof sub-
mitted to it, establishing the above facts, the auditor of public accounts
is hereby directed to list the above Robertson to receive a pension from
the state of Virginia of fifteen dollars per year.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
