Chap. 1451.—An ACT for the relief of John F. Perry.

Whereas John F. Perry, a Confederate soldier of Wise county, now of
Dickenson county, Virginia, is fifty-six years of age and partially dis-
abled by reasons of chronic rheumatism, brought on by long and con-
tinued exposure while serving in the Confederate army in Southwest »
Virginia, and by reason of exposure, is therefore unable to perform
manual labor in support of himself and family; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That if it
shall be proven before the county court of Dickenson county and so cer-
tified to the auditor of public accounts; that if the said John F. Perry’s
disabilities from the cause aforesaid are equal to the loss of a limh, and
that he has no means of support for himself and family, then the
auditor of public accounts is directed to list him for a pension of fifteen
($15) dollars per year.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
