Chap. 1427.—An ACT for the relief of James M. Jones, a Confederate soldier
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas James M. Jones, of the county of Bedford, a Confederat
soldier in second Virginia cavalry, and since becoming disabled to per.
form manual labor sufficient to provide subsistence for his famuly:
therefore, ;
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to place the name of James M. Jones on the pension roll of Confederate
soldiers, and to issue his warrant for the sum of fifteen dollars, for the
benefit of the said James M. Jones, after approval of his application by
the county court.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
