Chap. 1375.—An ACT for the relief of Goolman Davidson, a Confederate
soldier, of Lee county.

Whereas Goolman Davidson, of Lee county, Virginia, was a true,
gallant, and loyal Confederate soldier during the war between the
states; was disabled in part from exposure, and has of late received a
kick by a horse which has rendered him totally unable to perform
manual labor; and
Whereas the said Goolman Davidson has no property whatever, or
means of support; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That when-
ever the foregoing facts shall be proved before, and certified by the
county court of Lee county to the auditor of public accounts, the said
auditor shall place the name of the said Goolman Davidson upon the
pension roll, and the said Goolman Davidson shall be paid annually
out of the treasury of the state the sum of fifteen dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
