Chap. 1307.—An ACT for the relief of S. N. Willis, a disabled Confederate
soldier.

Whereas Samuel N. Willis served throughout the war between the
states in company K, twenty-third Virginia regiment, Taliaferro’s bri-
gade, Jackson’s corps, army of northern Virginia, and is now physically
incapacitated for the performance of manual labor, and has a large and
helpless family to support; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That on proof
of the alleged facts before the county court of Charlotte and the certi-
fication of the judge to the auditor, then the auditor of public accounts
shall enroll his name as entitled to receive a pension of fifteen dollars
per annum from April first, nineteen hundred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
