Chap. 1301.—An ACT for the relief of Fdward P. Holdren, a Confederate
soldier.

Whereas Edward P. Holdren, of company K, fifty-eighth Virginia
regiment, a Confederate soldier, is permanently disabled by reason of
wounds received in service of the Confederate states, and can now
perform very little manual labor; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to place the name of Edward P. Holdren onthe pension rolls of Con-
federate soldiers and to issue his warrant for the sum of fifteen dollars
annually, in favor of the said Edward P. Holdren for the same: pro-
vided, the above-named allegations be proved before the county court of
Bedford, and a certificate of the same be sent to the auditor of public
accounts.
2. This act shall be in force on and after the first day of April,
nineteen hundred.
