Chap. 1266.—An ACT for the relief of H. H. Nichol, a wounded Confederate
soldier of Lunenburg county.

Whereas H. H. Nichol, a Confederate soldier of Lunenburg county,
was a brave and loval soldier during the war between the states, and
received a severe wound which disables him for performing a manual
labor as much as if he had lost a leg: therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That on proof
of the alleged facts before the county court of Lunenburg, and the
certification of same to the auditor of publie accounts, the auditor of
public accounts be, and is hereby, directed to place the name of said
H. H. Nichol on the pension rolls at a pension of fifteen dollars per
annum.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
