C#Chap. 180.—An ACT for the Relief of M. C. Miles, Jailor of Lee County.
Approved March 20, 1876.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the auditor
of public accounts be, and he is hereby authorized to pay
M. C. Miles, jailér of Lee county, the sum of forty dollars,
that sum having been paid by him in attempting to secure a
prisoner, convicted of a felony and a fugitive from justice.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
