Chap. 110.—An ACT to authorize the superintendents of the state hospitals
for the insane to grant furloughs to inmates thereof.

Approved January 23, 1800.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the suner-
intendents of the state hospitals for the insane are hereby authorized to
grant furloughs to the inmates of said hospitals, when, in their judgment,
their mental condition may Justify it.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
