Chap. 1077.—An ACT for the relief of R. G. Willis, a disabled Confederate
soldier.
Approved March 7, 1900.
Whereas R. G. Willis, a resident of Orange county, a native of Vir-
vinia, and a volunteer in the service of the Confederate States as a
member of company “A,° thirteenth Virginia infantry, was wounded in
the battle of Cold Hahor in the head by a ball, producing partial
paralysis, rendering him totally disabled in the performance of manual
Jabor; and
Whereas for the past number of years he has become wholly disabled
from manual labor of any kind on account of said wound, and is wholly
unable to support himself, and is a subject of charity; now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the auditor
of public accounts 1s authorized and directed to place upon the pensior
rolls of this state the name of R. G@. Willis, and to issue to him warrant:
for the sum of thirty dollars per annum, in the same manner as is pro:
vided for Confederate soldiers who have been totally disabled from
manual labor: provided, the said R. G. Willis shall prove the foregoins
facts before the county court of Orange and obtain a certificate thereo.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
