Chap. 1076.—An ACT for the relief of Bettie O. Bloxton, widow of a Confed-
erate soldier.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Bettie O.
Bloxton, widow of William A. Bloxton, who lost his life in consequence
of diseases contracted during the war in military service of the Confed-
erate States, between the states, shall be entitled to aid under an act
of the general assembly of Virginia, approved March fifth, eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-eight, entitled an act to give aid to soldiers, : sailors, and
marines of Vi irginia maimed or disabled in the war between the states,
and to widows of Virginia soldiers, sailors, and marines who lost their
lives in consequence of said war in the military service; but said Bettie
O. Bloxton is to be listed and paid as of the beginning of the fiscal year
nineteen hundred: provided, the facts herein alleged shall be proven
before the county court of York county.
