Chap. 1057.—An ACT to relieve John Y. Harris, late treasurer cf Dinwiddie
county, and John Hargrave, D. H. Fisher, and John W. Thrift, his deputies.
by allowing them further time to distrain and levy for certain taxes and
levies in their hands.
Approved March 7, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Vireinia, That John
Y. Harris, late treasurer of Dinwiddie county, and his deputies, John
Hargrave, D. H. Fisher, and John W. Thrift, be, and they are hereby,
allowed one vear from the passage of this act to levy and distrain for
taxes and levies for the vears eighteen hundred and ninetv-six, eiehteen
hundred and ninety-seven, and cighteen hundred and ninety-eight, for
which thev have accounted to the state and county.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
