An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Title 88 thereof a new
section numbered $38-57.8, relating to the exercise of the power of
eminent domain by the State Highway Commissioner. H 20

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding in Title 33 thereof
section numbered 33-57.3, to provide as follows:

§ 33-57.3. The State Highway Commissioner shall not be subject to
any limitations in Title 25 of this Code in exercising the power of eminent
domain pursuant to this Title.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
