CHAPTER 634
An Act to authorize the governing body of Radford College to convey
certain real estate to the city of Radford, subject to the approval of
the Governor.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The governing body of Radford College is hereby authorized,
subject to approval of the Governor first obtained, to convey by proper
deed, approved by the Attorney General as to form and substance, to the
city of Radford, on such terms and conditions as it shall see fit, the follow-
ing described real estate:
Fee Simple Property
Tract No. 1
Beginning at a point in the intersection of the right of way of Adams
Street and Tyler Avenue as presently located; thence, in a northerly direc-
tion along the westerly right of way of Adams Street to a point in the
line of proposed right of way of Howe Street as shown on Sheet 8,
Project 0177-126-101, C-501, PE 101, RW-201, Virginia Department of
Highways; thence, around a curve to the right, radius — 20 feet, to a
PRC; thence, around a curve to the left to a PRC; thence, around a curve
to the right, radius — 12 feet, to a point in the existing right of way of
Tyler Avenue; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the existing right
of way of Tyler Avenue to the point of beginning.

Beginning at a point in the northerly right of way line of existing
Tyler Avenue where proposed right of way leaves existing right of way
as shown on Plan Sheet 8, Project 0177-126-101, C-501, PE 101, RW-201;
Virginia Department of Highways; thence, around a curve to the right
along the proposed right of way to a point in the existing right of way
of Tyler Avenue; thence, in a southerly direction along the existing right
of way of Tyler Avenue to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction
along the existing right of way of Tyler Avenue to the point of
beginning. :
Tracts 1 and 2 contain 0.286 acres as planimetered from plans fur
nished by Virginia Department of Highways. ,
Easement Property
Beginning at a point in the westerly right of way line of Adams
Street as presently located at a point where proposed right of way leaves
existing right of way of Adams Street as shown on Plan Sheet 8, Project
0177-126-101, C-501, PE 101, RW-201, Virginia Department of Highways;
thence, around a curve to the right, radius — 20 feet, to a PRC; thence,
around a curve to the left to a PRC; thence, around a curve to the right,
radius — 12 feet to a point in the existing right of way of Tyler Avenue;
thence along the existing right of Tyler Avenue to a point where proposed
right of way leaves Tyler Avenue; thence, around a curve to the right
along proposed right of way to a point in the existing right of way of
Tyler Avenue; thence, in a northerly direction along the existing right of
way of Tyler Avenue to a point where proposed easement line leaves exist-
ing right of way, said point being shown as 42 feet right of Station
289 -+- 00; thence, in a southerly direction along the proposed easement
line to a point, said point being shown as 50 feet right of Station 237 + 50;
thence, in a southeasterly direction along proposed easement line to a
point, said point being shown as 60 feet right of Station 236 + 75; thence,
in a southeasterly direction along the proposed easement line to a point,
said point being shown as 65 feet right of Station 235 + 25; thence, in a
southeasterly direction along the proposed easement line to a point, said
point being shown as 59 feet right of Station 234 +- 50; thence, in a north-
easterly direction along the proposed easement line to a point, said point
shown as 69 feet left to Station 9 + 10 of Howe Avenue Survey; thence,
in a southeasterly direction along the proposed easement line to a point in
the existing right of way of Adams Street; thence, in a southerly direc-
tion along the existing right of way of Adams Street to the point of
inning. Easement contains 0.288 acres as planimetered from plans
furnished by the Virginia Department of Highways.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
