An Act to authorize the State Hospital Board to sell and convey certain
real property to the city of Petersburg with the consent of the
Governor.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. §1. The State Hospital Board, with the consent of the Governor in
writing, is authorized to sell and convey, by proper deed or other instru-
ment, in form approved by the Attorney General, to the city of Petersburg
and its assigns, the following described property :
Beginning at a point in the west right of way of the Seaboard Air
Line Railway with its intersection of the northern line of Boydton Plank
Road Highway No. 142, thence N. 84° 37’ 27” W. 367.22 ft. to a point;
thence continuing along the northern line of Boydton Plank Road N. 86°
15’ 27” W. 164.85 ft. to a point; thence N. 89° 56’ 27” W. 102.45 ft. toa
point; thence N. 6° 24’ 43” W. 727.92 ft. to a point in the southern line of
the Richmond-Petersburg Turnpike; thence along said southern turnpike
line N. 77° 22’ 30” E. 212.74 ft. to a point; thence N. 83° 52’ 40” E. 438.67
ft. to a point of intersection of the Richmond-Petersburg Turnpike right
of way with the western right of way of the Seaboard Air Line Railway;
thence along the western right of way of the Railway S. 8° 56’ 50” E.
324 ft. to a point; thence following a curve radius 2250 ft., more or less,
eg ft. to the point of beginning, and containing twelve acres, more or
ess.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
