An Act to amend and reenact § 59-216 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to penalties for violations in the sale and use of fireworks. CH 659]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

_ That § 59-216 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 59-216. Any person who violates any provision of this chapter
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, be punished
* by confinement in jail not to exceed twelve months, or by a fine not
exceeding one thousand dollars, or both such fine and imprisonment.
