CHAPTER 436

An Act to amend and reenact § 82-9, as amended, of the Code of Virginia,
relating to power of State Board of Health to regulate disposition of
garbage, sewage and other refuse. CH 320}

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 32-9, as amended, of the Code of Virginia, be amended and
reenacted as follows:

§ 32-9. The Board may regulate the method of disposition of gar-
bage or sewage and any other refuse matter * or any combination thereof
in this State. The Board is authorized and directed through joint studies
with authorized representatives of common carriers, to consider control
devices and to investigate possible devices where none exist to control the
discharge of human waste from common carriers.
