CHAPTER 319

An Act to amend and reenact § 46.1-187 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to traffic signs, signals and markings erected or placed by local
authorities.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 46.1-187 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 46.1-187. Traffic signs erected on and after 1 January 1959 and
traffic signals and markings placed or erected on and after 1 January
1965 by local authorities pursuant to this title shall conform substantially
in size, design and color to those erected for the same purpose by the
State Highway Department.
