An Act to amend and reenact § 1 of Chapter 157 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1954, relating to the Portsmouth Port Commission. 'S 81}

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 1 of Chapter 157 of the Acts of Assembly of 1954 be amended
and reenacted as follows:

§ 1. There is created, in the manner hereinafter set forth, subject
to § 2 hereof, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth, with such public
and corporate powers as are granted in this act, to be known as the Ports-
mouth Port Commission, hereinafter called the Commission, provided,
however, that on and after July one, nineteen hundred sixty-four, the
Commission shall be known and designated as the Portsmouth Port and
Industrial Commission, but such change of name of itself shall in no wise
increase, diminish or affect any power, right, liability, notice or proceeding
with respect to the Commission.
