CHAPTER 282
An Act to appropriate moneys to the Department of Taxation to enable
at to augment and strengthen the appraisal and mapping staff of its
Division of Real Estate Appraisal and Mapping; and to enable it
to make advisory assistance of a technical nature available to the
localities in the assessment of machinery and tools, mineral lands and
minerals, and standing timber.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Taxation, out of the
general fund of the State treasury, for each year of the biennium beginning
July first, nineteen hundred and sixty-four, the sum of one hundred and
fifty-seven thousand dollars, for the following purposes:
(a) To augment and strengthen the appraisal and mapping staff of
its Division of Real Estate Appraisal and Mapping, the sum of one hundred
and twenty-two thousand dollars for each year of the biennium.
(b) To make advisory assistance of a technical nature available to
the localities of the State in the assessment of machinery and tools, mineral
lands and minerals, and standing timber, the sum of thirty-five thousand
dollars for each year of the biennium.
