An Act to repeal Chapter 425 of the Acts of Assembly of 1960 and Chapter
5 of the Acts of Assembly of 1962, both of which relate to the con-
struction and financing of certain buildings by The Rector and Visitors
of the University of Virginia; to validate certain actions of The
Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia in relation thereto,
and to provide for bond issues for certain purposes by The Rector and
Visitors of the University of Virginia. s 98

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: |
1. Chapter 425 of the Acts of Assembly of 1960 and Chapter 5 of the
Acts of Assembly of 1962 are repealed; provided that all bonds issued
and all other obligations of whatever nature heretofore undertaken and
actions had under authority of such chapters are hereby ratified, vali-
dated and confirmed.
2. Unless otherwise expressly provided by law, the construction of
dormitories and apartments, bond issues therefor, and each of the pur-
poses now or hereafter set forth in paragraph lettered (e) of § 28-15
of the Code of Virginia hereafter undertaken by The Rector and Visitors
of the University of Virginia shall be governed by the provisions of
chapter 3 of Title 23 of the Code of Virginia, as that title now exists or
hereafter may be amended.
