An Act to amend and reenact Chapter 882 of the Acts of Assembly of
1960, which was enacted as § 51-111.41:1 and was incorporated into
the Code of Virginia as § 51-111.41:2, relating to prior service credtt
for certain members of the Virginia Supplemental Retirement System.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virgi
1. That Chapter 332 of the Acts of ‘Assembly of 1 1960, “which was enacted
as § 51-111.41:1 and was incorporated into the Code of Virginia as § 561-
111.41 :2, be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 51-111.41:2. (a) Any * member of the retirement system may,
upon application to the Board, be given prior service credit for full time
service by him as a trial justice or judge of a county court, provided he so
served for ten years or longer. Upon notification by the Board that such
credit has been given, the State Treasurer, on ‘warrant of the Comptroller,
shall transfer all contributions made by any such member to the Trial
Justices’ Retirement Fund provided for in § 51-29.11 from such Fund to
the members’ contribution account.
(b) Provided that if any such member does not remain in * service
long enough to qualify for retirement or disability benefits, he shall not
be permitted to withdraw funds so transferred from such Fund and all
ee moneys shall be transferred back to such Fund from which original-
