CHAPTER 63

An Act to amend and reenact § 6-255 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
sale of certificate of investment by industrial loan associations, so as to
delete provision on rate of interest paid, and to provide that certain
industrial loan associations may not hereafter sell certificates of invest-

ment,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

Ls That § 6-255 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 6-255. Any industrial loan association * may sell certificates of in-
vestment * upon either the fully paid or partial payment system *. Pro-
vided that an association that had no certificates of investment issued and
outstanding on the first day of January, 1959, may not sell certificates of in-
vestment after the effective date of this act.
