CHAPTER 509
An Act to require the State Library Board to have prepared and to erect
an historical marker near the home of Judge Paul Carrington in
Charlotte County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. §1. The State Library Board is hereby directed to have prepared
and to erect, prior to January one, nineteen hundred and sixty-one, an
historical marker in an appropriate location on the highway in Charlotte
County near Mulberry Hill, the home of Judge Paul Carrington, who was
a member of the House of Burgesses, a patriot of the War of the Revolu-
tion, and a distinguished jurist.
2. There is hereby appropriated to the State Library Board out of the
general fund of the State treasury a sum sufficient, not exceeding two
hundred dollars, for the purposes set forth in this act.
