CHAPTER 465

An Act to amend and reenact § 18-330 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to observance of Saturday as Sabbath by certain persons. sans
[ ]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
en That § 18-330 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
follows:

§ 18-330. The penalty imposed by the preceding section shall not be
incurred by any person who conscientiously believes that the seventh day
of the week ought to be observed as a Sabbath, and actually refrains from
all secular business and labor on that day, provided he does not compel
an apprentice 0 or servant, not of his belief, to do secular work or business
on a Sunday *
