CHAPTER 122

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section num-
bered 46.1-291.1, relating to suspension of objects in such manner as
to obscure the view of the driver of a motor vehicle. rH 319]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a section
numbered 46.1-291.1 as follows:

§ 46.1-291.1. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor
vehicle upon a highway i in this State with any object or objects, other than
& rear view mirror, sun visor, or other equipment of the motor vehicle ap-
proved by the Superintendent, suspended from any part of such motor
vehicle in such a manner as to obstruct the driver’s clear view of the high-
way through the windshield, the front side windows, or the rear window.
