CHAPTER 633

AN ACT to authorize the State Hospital Board, subject to the approval of
the Governor, to construct or acquire and maintain and operate a
sewage disposal plant for Southwestern State Hospital, or to do so
jointly, under certain conditions, with the town of Marion.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The State Hospital Board is authorized and empowered, with the
approval of the Governor first obtained in writing, to (1) construct or
acquire and maintain and operate a sewage disposal plant for Southwestern
State Hospital at Marion, or (2) to enter into an agreement with the
town of Marion for the construction or acquisition and maintenance and
operation, of a sewage disposal plant for the joint use of such Hospital
and the town of Marion, the cost of construction or acquisition and mainte-
nance and operation to be apportioned between the State Hospital Board
and the town as may be agreed upon and approved by the Governor.
