CHAPTER 62

An Act to amend and reenact § 22 of Chapter 607 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1952, approved April 8, 1952, which chapter provided a new charter
for the town of Coeburn and which section relates to municipal
securities.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 22 of Chapter 607 of the Acts of Assembly of 1952, approved
April 8, 1952, be amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 22. Bonds, notes and other evidences of indebtedness may be
issued by the town for such purposes and in such manner as are prescribed
by chapter one hundred and twenty-two of the Code of Virginia, the Con-
stitution, or any other general statute on the subject of bond issues by
towns or the issue of other municipal securities. *

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
