CHAPTER 601

AN ACT to amend and reenact § 14-179 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to taxing costs of printing briefs. [S256]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 14-179 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
follows:

§ 14-179. Any party in whose favor costs are allowed in the Supreme
Court of Appeals * shall have taxed as part of the cost * the sum of forty
dollars for printing his brief if a brief was filed by him.
