An Act to regulate the use of certain firearms in King George County, and
to provide penalties for violations. CH 588]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: .
1. § 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt or shoot any wild
bird or animal in the county of King George with any rifle capable of
shooting any cartridge more powerful than commercially loaded twenty-
two long rifle cartridges; provided, however, that this section shall not be
construed to prohibit any person from shooting ground hogs with a larger
rifle, except during the general open season for hunting in such county.
2. Any person violating any provision of this act shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor.
