CHAPTER 338
An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto three new sec-
tions numbered §§ 8-208.1, 19-185.1 and 19-198.1, relating to the pay-
ment of compensation, fees, mileage and allowances for jurors, grand
jurors and jury commissioners selected or appointed for the Circuit
Court of the City of Richmond. [H 19]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a new
§ 8208.1 immediately following § 8-208, a new § 19-135.1 immediately
follwaniy § 19-135, and a new § 19-193.1 immediately following § 19-193,
as follows:
§ 8-208.1. The compensation, fees, mileage and allowances prescribed
in this chapter for jurors and jury commissioners selected or appointed
for the Circuit Court of the City of Richmond shall be paid by the Com-
monwealth.
§ 19-135.1. The compensation, fees, mileage and allowances pre-
scribed in this chapter for grand jurors selected or appointed for the
Circuit Court of the City of Richmond shall be paid by the Commonwealth.
§ 19-193.1. The compensation, fees, mileage and allowances pre-
scribed in this article for jurors selected or appointed for the Circuit Court
of the City of Richmond shall be paid by the Commonwealth.
2 By nie wet shall be in effect on and after July one, nineteen hundred
-eight.
