An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a new section numbered
68-869.1, so as to permit an allowance for work done by wards of the
four State training schools and to appropriate funds. CH 12]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a new section
numbered 63-369.1 as follows:
§ 68-369.1. The Director may allow every ward of the Bon Air
School for Girls, the Janie Porter Barrett School for Girls, the Beaumont
School for Boys and the Hanover School for Boys five cents a day for each
day of work satisfactory to the superintendent of the school in which
such ward is placed. The allowance so made may be drawn upon by the

hereby appropriated from the general fund of the State treasury twelve
