CHAPTER 277

AN ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
87-153.2, to provide for the taking of the bond of committees or trus-
tees for mentally ill, mentally deficient, epileptic and inebriate per-
sons and drug addicts by clerks of courts in certain cases. 8 204]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
37-153.2 as follows:

§ 37-153.2. Whenever in this title provision is made for the appoint-
ment of a committee or trustee by a court of record or the judge thereof,
the clerk of such court shall also have the authority to take the required
bond, and pass upon the sufficiency of the surety thereon.
