An Act to amend and reenact § 18-225, as amended, of the Code of Vir
ginta, relating to trespass on lands of another, having been forbtdde:

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 18-225, as amended, of the Code of Virginia, be amended an
reenacted as follows:
§ 18-225. If any person shall without authority of law go upon o
remain upon the lands or premises of another, after having been forbidde1
to do so by the owner, lessee, custodian or other person lawfully in charg
of such land, or after having been forbidden to do so by sign or sign
posted on the premises at a place or places where they may be reasonabl:
seen, he shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon convictio:
thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than * one hundred dollar
or by Sab in jail not exceeding thirty days, or by both such fine
and imprisonment.
This section shall not be construed to affect in any way the provisions
of §§ 29-165 to 29-170.
