An Act to authorize the Board of Visitors af the College of William and
Mary in Virginia, and the State Hospital Board, with the approval
of the Governor, to convey certain parcels of land to the United States
of America and to the city of Williamsburg, respectively. =

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Board of Visitors of the College of William and Mary in
Virginia is hereby authorized, with the approval of the Governor in writing
first obtained, to convey by deeds in form approved by the Attorney
panera the following described parcels of land to the grantees designated
erein :
{2 To the United States of America:
Beginning at a point eighty-nine (89) feet west of the Colonial Park-
way center-line station 695+80 and running N 88°-51’ W one hundred and
twenty-five (125) feet; thence S 51°-09’ W seventy-seven and eight-tenths
(77.8) feet; thence S 4°-564” W two hundred and sixty-one (261) feet to a
point on the boundary between the Colonial Parkway and the Eastern
State Hospital property; thence N 29°-06 W three hundred and twenty-
five (825) feet; thence N 14°-54’ E sixty (60) feet; thence N 88°-54 E
three hundred and sixty (860) feet to a point on the boundary between
the Colonial Parkway and the Eastern State Hospital property; thence
S 15°-24’ W fifty-eight (58) feet to the point of beginning, containing
1.05 acres, more or less.
(b) To the city of Williamsburg:
Beginning at a point on the east right-of-way of South Henry Street,
said point being nine hundred forty-six and fifty hundredths feet south of
the southeast corner of the intersecton of South Henry Street and Francis
Street, and running along the east right-of-way S 6°-57’ E sixty (60.00)
feet; thence N 83°-03’ E sixty-nine and fifteen hundredths (69.15) feet;
thence along a curve to the right whose radius is one thousand two hundred
forty-three and fifty-seven hundredths (1243.57) feet four hundred thirty-
five and forty-four hundredths (435.44) feet; thence S 76°-53’ E fifty-
seven and fifty hundredths (57.50) feet; thence N 13°-07 E sixty (60.00)
feet; thence N 76°-53’ W fifty-seven and fifty hundredths (57.50) feet;
thence along a curve to the left whose radius is one thousand three
hundred three and fifty-seven hundredths (1303.57) feet; thence S 83°-03’
sixty-nine and fifteen hundredths (69.15) feet to the point of beginning,
containing .79 acre, more or less.
The conveyance to the United States of America is for the purpose
of enabling the National Park Service of the United States Department of
the Interior to construct an overpass in connection with the Colonial
Parkway, and the conveyance to the city of Williamsburg is for the pur-
pose of enabling the city to construct a street adjoining such overpass.
§ 2. The authorization herein given for such conveyances shall be
subject to the condition that the State Hospital Board join in the execu-
tion of such deeds for the purpose of granting, releasing and quitclaiming
all right, title and interest heretofore reserved to the State Hospital
Board in the tract of land of which such parcels are a part; and the State
Hospital Board is hereby authorized, with the approval of the Governor
in writing first obtained, to join in the execution of such deeds.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
