CHAPTER 647

An Act to authorize the use of certified mail under certain circumstances
in lieu of the use of registered mail. [H 595]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. Whenever in the Code of Virginia any mail or notice is required to
be sent by registered mail, it shall constitute compliance with any such
section if such mail or notice is sent by certified mail.
