CHAPTER 640
An Act to amend and reenact § 46-275 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to when lights on motor vehicles to be lighted.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 46-275 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 46-275. If natural light is insufficient to enable the operator of a
vehicle to discern an object at a distance of three hundred feet the lamps
in this article respectively required for different classes of vehicles shall
be lighted. Not more than four lamps used to provide general illumination
ahead of the vehicle, including at least two headlamps and any other
combination of fog lamps, passing lamp, driving lamp or other auxiliary
lamp approved by the Superintendent shall be lighted at any time. It shall
be unlawful and consitute a misdemeanor for any person to violate the
provisions of this section. *
